Event app

  • The planning team is using the event application (app) Whova to support participants with scheduling, networking, learning about conference speakers and sponsors, and much, much more. Download the app now!

Lodging

  • Participants are able to stay at the conference hotel (the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland) as they see fit. March 27, 2023 was the last day to reserve rooms at the group rate though rooms may still be available. Click here to reserve your room online or call 800-996-0510. Attendees should contact the hotel for reservation issues or special room accommodations at 866-568-0896 or online.

  • Additional information about the hotel:

    • March 27, 2023 was the last day to reserve a room at the discounted group rate. If you do not reserve a room while the block is open/available, we cannot guarantee the group rate.

    • In order to confirm an attendee’s room assignment, the hotel will require a credit card to guarantee the reservation. Reservations are cancelable up to 72 hours in advance of your arrival date.

    • Currently, hotel check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (subject to change without notice). All guests arriving before check-in time will be accommodated as rooms become available. The hotel’s Guest Services Department can arrange to store baggage for those arriving early and for guests attending functions on departure day.

    • Charges and fees are associated with last-minute changes, such as canceled reservations or early departure. Please contact the hotel for details.

Registration

  • Conference registration is now closed.

  • Registration will close at 11:59 PM PST on April 5, 2023. This includes the waitlist. The price per participant is as follows:

    • Early Bird (Jan. 11-31): $350

    • Standard (Feb. 1 to March 17): $400

    • Late (March 18 to April 5): $450

  • If you need to update something from your registration form, please email conference@habitatoregon.org.

Refunds/cancelations

  • A full refund (minus a $15 administrative fee) will be offered for cancelations requested by 11:59 PM PST on April 5, 2023. Email conference@habitatoregon.org to request a cancelation.

  • Beginning April 6, we are unable to provide any refunds for cancelations or no-shows. After April 6, if you are unable to attend the conference due to possible exposure to COVID-19 or illness, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

  • In the event of conference cancelation, registrants will receive a full refund of their purchase (minus a $15 administrative fee). Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.

  • If you cancel your registration, please be sure to cancel your lodging at the DoubleTree.

Scholarships

  • Small Habitat affiliates and affiliates serving rural communities may qualify for Habitat for Humanity International’s Small Affiliate or Rural Training scholarships to attend this conference; please see the Capacity Building Scholarships page on MyHabitat for more information. If you don't qualify for HFHI scholarship funds, contact your affiliate support organization directly. Unfortunately, scholarships for this event are extremely limited.

Dietary restrictions

  • Dietary restrictions are collected on the registration form. If you have a specific concern, please email conference staff.

Accommodations

  • The planning team will do its best to support all requests, but all inquiries are subject to staff and venue availability. If you need special accommodations for your hotel room, please contact the hotel directly.

Venue location

  • The conference is hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel located at 1000 NE Multnomah St, Portland, Oregon, 97232. The DoubleTree is located in Portland's Lloyd District, adjacent to the MAX light rail with access to many of Portland’s diverse neighborhoods and attractions.
